Therapeutic indications
This product is suitable for the short-term treatment of the following acute pains: post-traumatic pain and inflammation, such as sprains, muscle strains, etc.; postoperative pain and inflammation, such as after dental or orthopedic surgery, etc.; gynecological pain and inflammation, such as primary Sexual dysmenorrhea or adnexitis, etc.; pain caused by spinal syndromes; non-articular rheumatism; severe infectious pain and inflammation of the ear, nose and throat (such as tonsillitis, otitis, sinusitis, etc.), anti-infective drugs should be used at the same time.

Dose and method of administration
Take orally, before meals. Adults, 100 to 150 mg/day; those with mild symptoms and children over 14 years old, 75 to 100 mg/day, divided into 2 to 3 times. For primary dysmenorrhea, the general dose is 50 to 150 mg/day. Depending on the condition, the dose can be increased to the maximum dose of 200 mg/day, or as directed by your doctor.

Contraindications
1.Disabled for those with peptic tract ulcers.
2.It is contraindicated for those allergic to this product and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
3.It is contraindicated in patients with asthma, urticaria, or acute rhinitis caused by acetylsalicylic acid or other prostaglandin synthase inhibitors.

Special warnings and precautions for use
1. People with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, gastrointestinal ulcers and liver function impairment should use with caution.
2. Use with caution in patients with symptoms or history of heart or kidney damage, elderly patients, patients taking diuretics, and patients who have lost extracellular fluid for any reason.
3. Individual patients who require long-term treatment should have their liver function and blood picture checked regularly. This product should be discontinued when liver function damage occurs.
4. Patients with a history of vertigo or other central nervous system diseases should be prohibited from driving or operating machinery while taking this product.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction
(1) Drinking alcohol or using it together with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs may increase gastrointestinal adverse reactions and may cause ulcers. Long-term use with acetaminophen can increase the toxic side effects on the kidneys.
(2) When used together with anticoagulants such as heparin and dicoumarol and platelet aggregation inhibitors, there is an increased risk of bleeding.
(3) Hyperkalemia may occur when used together with potassium-sparing diuretics.
(4) When used together with verapamil and nifedipine, the blood concentration of this product will increase.
(5) This product can increase the blood concentration of digoxin and lithium preparations. When using them together, attention must be paid to adjusting the dosage of digoxin and lithium preparations.
(6) When this product is used together with anti-diabetic drugs, it may affect the efficacy of the latter, so careful consideration is required.
(7) When this product is used together with antihypertensive drugs, it may affect the antihypertensive effect of the latter.
(8) This product can reduce the excretion of methotrexate, increase its blood concentration, and even reach poisoning levels. Therefore, this product should not be used together with medium or large doses of methotrexate.
(9) When this product is combined with cyclosporine, the toxicity of the latter may be increased.
Fertility, pregnancy and lactation
The use of diclofenac in pregnant women has not been studied. Therefore, diclofenac potassium is contraindicated in the first six months of pregnancy unless the potential benefit to the mother outweighs the risk to the fetus. Like other NSAIDs, their use is contraindicated in the third trimester of pregnancy because of the risk of premature closure of the ductus arteriosus or uterine atony. The use of diclofenac potassium during breastfeeding should be avoided to avoid adverse effects on the fetus.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Diclofenac sodium is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory analgesic. Its mechanism of action is to inhibit the activity of cyclooxygenase, thereby blocking the conversion of arachidonic acid to prostaglandins. At the same time, it can also promote the combination of arachidonic acid and triglycerides, reduce the concentration of free arachidonic acid in cells, and indirectly inhibit the synthesis of leukotrienes. Diclofenac sodium is one of the more powerful nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Its inhibitory effect on prostaglandin synthesis is stronger than that of aspirin and indomethacin.
