Dose and method of administration

In patients with severe asthma and discontinuation or reduction of oral corticosteroids, the starting dose of budesonide aerosol is:
1. Adults: 200-1600 μg/day, divided into 2 to 4 times (for milder cases, 200-800 μg/day, for more serious cases, 800-1600 μg/day).
2. Children aged 2 to 7 years old: 200 to 400 μg/day, divided into 2 to 4 times.
